Terms of Service
Last updated: September 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a contract between you and Glyph ("Glyph," "we," "us") governing your use of the Glyph service — the omnichannel shared inbox for SMS, voice, social messaging, and email at getglyph.io and related apps (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
1. The Service
Glyph provides a shared inbox that lets your team send and receive messages across SMS and voice (via Telnyx), social channels (via Zernio), and email (via Shipmail), with payments and billing handled by Stripe. We may add, change, or remove features at any time; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.
2. Accounts and seats
- You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by users you invite.
- Full seats are billed at $30 per seat per month. Light users — team members without a personal email inbox — use the Service free.
- Usage-based costs (calls, texts, extra social accounts) are billed at provider cost plus a markup, as shown in your workspace billing settings.
- Accounts with unpaid invoices past their due date may be suspended or downgraded until the balance is paid.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you and your team send through the Service, and for having any required consents, licenses, or legal bases to send it.
- All messaging must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, including express-consent and opt-out requirements.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and the terms of any third parties you message through (carriers, Meta, WhatsApp, and others).
- Keep your credentials and API keys secret. Do not share accounts across organizations or resell access without our written permission.
4. Customer data
You retain ownership of the data you put into the Service ("Customer Data"), including messages, contacts, and recordings. You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to grant that license and to direct us to process that data.
5. Intellectual property
We own the Service, including all software, design, and branding. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no intellectual property is transferred to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
6. Warranties and disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and message delivery depends on third-party carriers and platforms outside our control.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLYPH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
8. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, for non-payment, or where required by law. For messaging-policy violations, suspension may be immediate.
- You may cancel at any time from your workspace billing settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund partial months.
- After termination, we will retain Customer Data only as described in our Privacy Policy, then delete it.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we will post the new version at this page with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the changes take effect is acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
